Hypocrite: Trudeau says Free Speech cannot offend, wears shirt mocking Christianity

Pot, meet Kettle.

Canada’s biggest hypocrite is back at it. And it appears as if he is attempting to justify recent and past terror attacks in France.

On Friday, while discussing the latest attacks in Nice and Lyon, Canada’s Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau was questioned on whether the Charlie Hebdo magazine in France should publish caricatures of the Muslim prophet Muhammed.

In 2015, 12 people died when the Charlie Hebdo offices were attacked by a crazed gunman who was upset about satirical photos published by the weekly magazine. This past September, a Pakistani man showed up at the former office location to set it ablaze. Instead of starting a fire, he attacked two people with a meat cleaver.

Here is Trudeau’s cowardly response:

“We will always defend freedom of expression,” Trudeau started. “But freedom of expression is not without limits. We owe it to ourselves to act with respect for others and to seek not to arbitrarily or unnecessarily injure those with whom we are sharing a society and a planet.

“We do not have the right for example to shout fire in a movie theatre crowded with people, there are always limits.

“In a pluralist, diverse and respectful society like ours, we owe it to ourselves to be aware of the impact of our words, of our actions on others, particularly these communities and populations who still experience a great deal of discrimination.”

In other words, if you offend someone don’t be surprised if you get a bullet or meat cleaver coming back at you.

Way to set a great example and take a hard stance against terrorism, Justin. Bravo!

Meanwhile, as Trudeau claims you can’t have free speech because it might offend, a photo of him openly mocking Christianity resurfaced.

In this undated photo, Trudeau is seen wearing a shirt depicting The Last Supper with a few alterations. The face of Jesus Christ and the apostles have been replaced with emojis, the food with cake and a nice birthday banner has been hung above the windows.

I wonder if Trudeau was worried about the response and offense caused by his free speech. Of course, he wasn’t because that’s not how Canadians react to satire.

It’s just more proof that Trudeau is the biggest hypocrite in the country.

Christianity is losing its relevance in the West. Being offended by that won’t change it. This is just a jokey Christmas sweater, one of many out there. I have one of Rudolph pooping Christmas candies… Besides, Christmas is paganism, with a thin Jesus veneer painted over it.

It’s the hypocrisy of Trudeau’s comments that is offensive. We get jokes, sarcasm, free speech. But don’t say that I can’t make jokes or blunt statements, while you can. That’s what bothers me personally.
